Deena & Adam | A Hartwood Acres Engagement Session | Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer

Deena and Adam drove in from Ohio at 5 am (yes, 5 AM!) for their sunrise engagement shoot at 6:30am at Hartwood Acres.  Actually, when we arrived at Hartwood, the gates weren't even open yet!  We were hoping for a gorgeous sunrise, but unfortunately it ended up being a cloudy morning.  However, that didn't stop us from having an amazing session!

Deena is a big Harry Potter fan, as well as a big Disney fan (just like me!).  She wanted her and Adam to have a magical, fairytale-like shoot, and I think we succeeded!  Between the mansion, the blossoming trees, and their adorable puppies, it was a great time.

Also, that gorgeous save-the-date sign was hand-lettered by Deena herself!  She does beautiful work, and made that sign using pages from Harry Potter.  She was overwhelmed with orders and is taking a break to focus on her current projects, but when she returns you can commission custom work from her shop here.
