Cooks Forest Elopement | Crystal & Joe
Crystal & Joe changed their wedding plans to a small and private elopement up at Cooks Forest to avoid the big gathering and keep health and safety top-of-mind during the pandemic. Their portraits were filled with fun hikes through the woods, and their party was a ton of fun! We ended with one of the most epic cake smashes I’ve ever seen.
North Park Senior Portraits | Ava
North Park Senior Portraits | Ava
Ava wanted to celebrate all things nature for her senior portraits. While there are many great locations around the Pittsburgh area, I’m partial to North Park. We can get a mix of being near the water, having large open fields, nature paths, and the woods all in a very small area.
Mellon Park & Oakland Senior Portraits | Eliza
If you want some nature photos, but you want to stay close to the city, Mellon Park is the perfect option. It has beautiful architectural details like iron gates and brick walls, while being surrounded by greenery. Just down the street are the stately buildings of the Oakland area for a fun mix!
Sewickley Heights Park Engagements | Rachel & Henry
Sewickley Heights Park Engagements | Rachel & Henry
Since these two amazing people are from out of town, we had to sneak in their engagement session at sunrise on a holiday weekend. Give them major props for being willing to not only get up at the crack of dawn, but get up and get ready for the camera!
Jenn & Brad | A Barn at Soergel Hollow Wedding
Jenn & Brad are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Their wedding exemplified that, full of adorable rustic decor, bright sunflowers, and plenty of entertainment for guests. They had a field for lawn games, giant Jenga, and even a bonfire at the end of the night (yes, with s'mores!).
Devin | A North Park Senior Session
Devin rocked this shoot. We went big, with smoke bombs, sunset photos, and night shots. We lucked out with amazing weather, and beautiful, golden-hour lighting that made the images really stand out.
Emily | A North Park Senior Session
Kicking off the first of many is Emily. She emailed me with a request for a boho-style shoot with a variety of backdrops. Of course the first place that came to mind was North Park, simply because of all the variety it has in one location. Waterfalls, the lake, woods, fields of grass, you name it. - it is all at North Park
Maggie & Nate | A North Park Engagement
Maggie and Nate wanted a nature-inspired shoot, and there is no better place to go for that than North Park. We had a perfect day, and managed to incorporate the lake, a waterfall, a field, woods, and more into their session. Pretty impressive for being out for only two hours! They hiked all over the park (and may have driven a little too) to get to the perfect spots. I'm so happy with how the session turned out!
