Maura & Jim | A Strip District Proposal
Jim started planning his proposal over six months ago. He started talking about it with me about three months ago. Two weeks ago, Jim and I met to go over the final details. When we met, you could see how anxious he was for the proposal to go perfectly.
Becca & Scott | A Phipps Wedding
Becca and Scott had a beautiful, intimate wedding at Phipps Conservatory, followed by a photo-shoot around the city, and dinner at the Le Mont. At Phipps, they shared notes with each other before their first look. Then they walked down the aisle together. Their wedding guests totaled 6 people! It was the perfect day.
Kaitlin & Nick | A West Overton Barn Wedding
Kaitlin and Nick had a beautiful ceremony at St. Sebastian Church, followed by a reception at the West Overton Barn. Their style was classic, and full of fun, DIY details like outdoor games, a bench guest book, and so much more. Kaitlin and her dad shared an emotional father-daughter first look, where everyone in the room (myself included) teared up.

What Goes Into Being a Wedding Photographer
Hello!I get asked, "how many hours do you put into a wedding?" or, "what do you do all day?" quite a bit. My impression is that some people thing I come to a wedding, snap pictures, then go home and party! (Side note: I'm not that cool. No parties for me.)
Tracy & Eddie | A Strip District Engagement Session
I met Tracy last year, when I photographed her son's senior pictures. This September, Tracy is getting married to a wonderful guy named Eddie. I'm so happy she chose me to capture this special moment. Tracy & Eddie decided on the Strip District, with a quick trip into the city to get a shot by their future venue, Hotel Monaco. The images turned out beautifully, and I'm so excited to see what their wedding will be like in a few short months!
Heather & Joe | A Penn State Engagement Session
Heather and Joe are getting married next month up in Erie. We were a little late getting their engagement session completed, but it was worth the wait. Saturday afternoon, I was so excited to head out to State College for their session. It was an easy and beautiful drive through the hills of Pennsylvania.....
Nikki & Phil | A Pittsburgh Engagement Session
When it came time for Nikki & Phil's engagement shoot, we had to call and reschedule due to rain and thunderstorms. The next go around, it looked like rain again! This time we decided to chance it, and met in Market Square downtown. Of course it poured on us, but we made the most of it, and captured some amazing shots. By the time we headed to Mt. Washington, the sun had come out.
What to Wear For Your Senior Portrait Session
The question I get asked the most by my seniors is, "what should I wear?" Senior portraits are supposed to celebrate your personality, so that is a difficult question to answer. However, there are a few tips & tricks that make it easier to be photo-ready!
