While planning a wedding during Covid has has had many challenges, it has brought some interesting changes in the industry - namely, smaller, more intimate celebrations! I was blessed to have been able to capture this quiet home-based celebration with John and May this summer. The ceremony was held in their front room with just very close friends and family.

I was blessed to have been able to capture this quiet home-based celebration with John and May this summer. The ceremony was held in their front room with just very close friends and family. Their wedding party was May’s daughter and boyfriend, and portraits were taken at their house and a park down the street.

These two were so much fun to work with. During their final meeting they were so excited about their first dance. They had a beautiful coordinated dance taught by Amanda Wolf at Pittsburgh Wedding Dance. And their know-how of dips and spins made for beautiful pictures as well! The rest of the day was a beautiful celebration of them with their friends and family.

These two were so much fun to work with. I knew it was going to be a great wedding when Emily rocked open-toed shoes during their winter engagements. Definitely means they are up for anything to get a good photo!

Even though the morning was rainy, the sun came out for the rest of the day! It was a beautiful wedding, and I’m so glad my husband and I were able to capture it.
