Heinz History Center Wedding | Marissa & Carl
Heinz History Center Wedding | Marissa & Carl
Remember that time a bird pooped on the groom right before the photos? No? Take a look!
I’m so grateful for chill couples that just roll with it, even when a pigeon craps on your suit. Marissa’s face says it all! The rest of the day was amazing, and ended with a gorgeous sunset over the city. Heinz History Center has some pretty amazing views.
Ace Hotel Pittsburgh Wedding | Phebe & Daniel
Where do I start with these two? For one, they were referred to me by my amazing vendor friends A&L Events, as well as my previous wedding clients, Maura & Jim, so I knew they were great people off the bat.
During their engagement session, you could tell they were made for each other. For one, they’ve been together since high school (and you guys know I’m a sucker for high school sweethearts). For two, they have the two most adorable pups!
St. Kilian's and DoubleTree Cranberry Wedding | Shelby & Anthony
St. Kilian's and DoubleTree Cranberry Wedding | Shelby & Anthony
These two high school sweethearts tied the knot on May 25th in a gorgeous ceremony at St. Kilian’s in Cranberry. Random aside, the last time I photographed a wedding at that church, it was with a different Anthony & Shelby! Small world!
Beauty and the Beast Styled Shoot
A&L Events and I planned this gorgeous photoshoot to bring to life an old favorite of mine, Beauty and the Beast. I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding with this theme, and since one wasn’t on the horizon, we made one! This styled shoot has been featured in Pittsburgh Magazine, Red Oak Weddings, and Burnetts Boards.
Omni William Penn Wedding | Kinley and Tony
Omni William Penn Wedding | Kinley and Tony
I got a fun email a while back. It was from Kinley. She told me that they wanted to elope to Pittsburgh! PA is one of the only states where you can get a self-uniting marriage license, and that is what they wanted to do. Just the two of them, saying their vows to each other, on Valentine’s Day.

Carnegie Museum of Art Wedding | Colten and Louis
I had the pleasure of photographing Colten & Louis’s amazing wedding at the Carnegie Museum of Art. The museum holds an event every third Thursday of the month for the 21+ crowd, which always has a theme. February, the theme was ‘We Do’. The art museum did something they’ve never done before - they held a contest for a win a free wedding. You just had to be willing to get married at the event, and be open to all of Pittsburgh being invited!
Seven Oaks Country Club Wedding | Kate & Dave
Katie & Dave had a chilly winter day for their wedding. They powered through pictures outside. Other than the shivering & goosebumps, you could hardly tell they were cold!
Since we all road together to get to the first look location, the groomsmen took great pleasure in blindfolding Dave so that he couldn’t catch an early glimpse of his bride-to-be. Getting him on and off the bus was a challenge, but made for some great moments. The look on his face when he saw Kate for the first time made the wait worth it.
