Mexican War Streets Engagement | Alaina & Andrew
This is such a fun loving couple. You can tell from the photos that we just had a blast working together. It was cold, but totally worth it. I love engagement sessions in the Mexican War Streets of the north side. The character and pops of color just add to the images.
McConnells Mill Engagement Session | Brittney & Robbie
Okay, can we talk about this dress!?!?!?! When Brittney sent me pictured of the dress she was planning to wear, I was in awe. The red is a great contrast against the forest, and we even lucked out with a little bit of snowfall at the end of the photoshoot. The outfit definitely brings in some drama! I can’t wait for their wedding this year.
2019 Round Up | Couples Portraits
Let’s celebrate love with a 2019 recap. First up, we are taking a look at all the beautiful couples photos from the past year.
2019 was amazing. I had the tremendous opportunity to travel to quite a few locations early this year to capture engagement photos, and (of course) had beautiful photo sessions right here in the Burgh. Here’s a look at my favorite images:
Raven's Rock WV Engagement Session | Karah & Ian
We drove all the way down to Coopers Rock State Forest in West Virginia to find the perfect cliff-top view for Karah & Ian’s engagement session. Together, we hiked out to the edge and watched the sunset over the mountains. By the time we finished, we had to hike half the trail in the dark! Good thing we brought flashlights just in case.
Sewickley Heights Park Engagements | Rachel & Henry
Sewickley Heights Park Engagements | Rachel & Henry
Since these two amazing people are from out of town, we had to sneak in their engagement session at sunrise on a holiday weekend. Give them major props for being willing to not only get up at the crack of dawn, but get up and get ready for the camera!
Alabama Hills & Mt. Whitney Engagement | Rachel & Ryan
Alabama Hills & Mt. Whitney Engagement | Rachel & Ryan
This is part two of this gorgeous couple’s engagement session. The first half took place on a beach in San Diego. For this sunrise session, we drove 5 hour outside of the city to capture the majesty of the mountains.
San Diego Engagement | Rachel & Ryan
Rachel & Ryan were incredible to work with. Let’s just start off by saying this is only part 1 of this session. Day 2 was all about the desert and the mountains! Be on the lookout next week.
We started at Torrey Pines overlooking the beach, taking advantage of the cliffs views. We then made the absolutely crazy & exhilarating hike down to the beach access, which included a pass through a small slot canyon, and using a rope to navigate a particularly steep rock face. I may have been covered head to toe in dirt by the end, but I had a smile on my face.
Pittsburgh Anniversary Session | Kathleen & Jeff
These two love birds were so much fun to photograph. They decided to take some portraits to celebrate their anniversary, and go to some of the spots they didn’t have time for on their wedding day. Personally, I love the idea of getting back in front of the camera for anniversaries. It’s always amazing to be able to re-capture that feeling of excitement.
