Pittsburgh Family Photoshoot on the North Shore
Pittsburgh Family Photoshoot on the North Shore
I love the idea of celebrating an anniversary with a family session! It was such a great way to show how the family grows. After we took some photos with the kids, they went home with grandma so we could focus on just the two of them.
Football Senior Portraits | Caden
Football Senior Portraits | Caden
Sometimes, you have to have some pictures that highlight what you do. For Caden, that meant heading out to the stadium for some epic football photos focused on his jersey. If you know me, we had to get a smoke bomb in the mix to make things extra dramatic!
Afterwards, we headed down to the North Shore for some classic Pittsburgh senior portraits. Those bridges are timeless!
Senior Portraits at the Columns & North Shore | Trey
Senior Portraits at the Columns & North Shore | Trey
I always love when a senior decides to dress up for their senior portraits. Trey started out his session in Oakland, where he wore a suit. We walked around the Columns (Mellon Institute), and then headed to Pitt campus for some classic red door photos.
We ended the session down on Pittsburgh’s North Shore for bridge photos and night shots!
North Shore Engagement Session | Lindsay
We started in the studio for Lindsay’s senior portraits to get some unique moments. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the streamer wall! As the session went on, Lindsay got more relaxed, and some of my favorite moments came during her dance parties at the end of the night!
North Shore & Mt. Washington Engagement | Lily & Kevin
When your clients are ballroom dancers, you get extra epic photos with many, many lifts. Also, can I just say that I love this combination of locations? Allegheny Commons Park always gets the best light, and then we ended with classic Pittsburgh spots to grab that beautiful skyline. Sometimes it is great to be a photographer in PIttsburgh!
Allegheny Commons Park Senior Portraits | Rohan
Allegheny Commons Park, specifically the area behind the Aviary, is one of my favorite parks in the city. It is very close to the skyline views of the North Shore, but far enough away that you can get a true nature-vibe. Rohan rocked his session there with a suit-style to kick things off, and ended on a more casual note for night shots with the city background.
Phipps & North Shore Senior Portraits | Lindsey
Lindsey wanted a combination of flowers and classic Pittsburgh for her senior portraits, so we had to start things off at Phipps. Their front lawn is always a gorgeous array of colors. Her mom even made that awesome 2023 sign to celebrate her senior year! Another high school senior we ran into borrowed if for a shot, haha.
We finished things off on the North Shore with some epic night shots as well. You know those are always my favorites.
Mellon Park & The North Shore Senior Portraits | Riley
I so love this combination of locations for portraits of all kinds. You get the best mix of old world architecture with the bricks and iron gates, then move to the fun, modern Pittsburgh skyline. We had great weather for Riley’s senior portrait session as well, so you can’t ask for anything more!
