Jenn & Brad are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Their wedding exemplified that, full of adorable rustic decor, bright sunflowers, and plenty of entertainment for guests. They had a field for lawn games, giant Jenga, and even a bonfire at the end of the night (yes, with s'mores!).

Before their wedding, they shared a quiet moment alone, and Jenn read a letter that Brad wrote to her. They didn't see each other, but they got to have a minute to talk and work through any nerves together. It was such an intimate experience to watch; I had to hold back tears.

Becca and Scott have been together for a long time, and they are getting married in a small ceremony next year. They reached out to me to capture their day (which I am so excited about!). We began planning their engagement session immediately, because it is only going to get colder outside. They chose Frick Park, where Scott often walked to work through.
Usually I take clients to the lower section of the park near the fields. Becca & Scott introduced me to the upper entrance near the museum. It is a gorgeous location, and we had a beautiful, crisp fall day for the shoot.

Lauren & Matt got married in a beautiful service at Phipps on November 12th. Afterwards, everyone made their way to Robin Hill Park, where they partied, enjoyed cookies, and ate Chinese food for dinner.
My husband has known Lauren & Matt since high school (maybe even earlier!) when they all used to fence together. We hadn't seen them in years, when we happened to bump into each other at a 21+ event (Indiana Jones themed) at the Carnegie History Center. It was fate!
I'm so grateful they decided to book with me, because the whole process has been a blast! We took their engagement pictures at Kennywood (click the link - you know you want too), and ended up with magic. I knew their wedding would be the same.
I cried watching their emotion during the first look (do you know how difficult it is to take pictures when you're crying!?!?), and again during their ceremony. You can just tell how in love they are. It radiates from them.

Often, couples get professional photographs done for the very first time together during their engagement shoot. Since it is the first time, it is usually a little awkward, and I often take the lead posing so that my couples can get comfortable. With these two, I barely had to do a thing. They were so natural together! I can't wait to photograph their wedding!

Casey and Fred had a gorgeous day at McConnells Mills for their shoot. It was a nice change from the cold and rainy session I had there just a week prior. We explored the area and ended up with some amazing images! You can just see the love between these two.

I've known Nate and Abby since high school, and it was a joy to be able to capture their engagement pictures. Abby & Nate are avid riders, and Nate actually proposed to her at Rolling Hills Ranch. It was the perfect location to have their engagement shoot.
Considering how late in the season it was, we ended up with picture perfect weather. We started the session up in a small field, but then decided to expand their session to an actual ride - yep, I had to go too! Definitely not what I expected! But we had a ton of fun, and captured incredible images.

Alayna and her family drove up to McConnells Mills for her senior pictures. There was only a 20% chance of rain - so of course it started pouring right as they arrived. Perfect Pittsburgh timing. Since she had gotten her hair and makeup done, we started with a few pictures under her umbrella. Just as we were about to call it, the rain stopped.
We decided to risk it, and we hiked around for a while. We even got back into the car and drove down to the mill! While there, it did start raining again, but we worked through it and made some magic. I'm thrilled they were willing to keep pushing on.
