Salt Lake City Wedding | Sam & Curt
You all know how I LOVE to travel. While Covid put a damper on things for a while, now that the whole family is vaccinated, I was so ready to get back at it! We kicked it off in a big way with a week long vacation to capture Sam & Curt’s wedding in Salt Lake! It is such a gorgeous city surrounded by mountains.
These two celebrated with friends and family on the wedding day. Included were special touches with paintings and more. The day after, we adventured into the mountains to grab portraits of the two of them.

The day after, we adventured into the mountains to grab portraits of the two of them. Sam is a friend from grad school, so this was even more special since I’ve known her for a long time.

Presque Isle Lighthouse Erie, PA Wedding | Jim & Maura
Jim and Maura are amazing human beings. They held an all-American, red, white & blue themed wedding at Presque Isle lighthouse, which was just stunning (just wait till you see all these photos!). Maura got ready at her parents’ house in Erie, while Jim donned his suit at a nearby hotel. They were then married at St. Peter’s Cathedral, a beautiful church.

Photos followed at Perry Monument for their wedding party, and afterwards Jim, Maura and I headed to the beach for a few pictures of them. The party continued in a tent put next to the lighthouse. Sunset was amaaaaaazing, and many of the guests ventured out for the view. Of course I stole Maura & Jim for a few sunset photos as well!
Burning River Entertainment, owned by the bride’s brother, rocked the party and kept everyone dancing the night away! Keep an eye out for their details. Personally, some of my favorites are the detailing on Jim’s ring, and their gorgeous floral arrangements.

Melissa & Zach got married in a beautiful ceremony at Cafe Brauer, a venue space at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. They came to me last year for engagement pictures, and we ended up having so much fun they brought me out to photograph the wedding!

Melissa & Zach got married in a beautiful ceremony at Cafe Brauer, a venue space at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. They came to me last year for engagement pictures, and we ended up having so much fun they brought me out to photograph the wedding!
The space was incredibly decorated. I can’t get over how well the florals, lighting, and cake came together to create a backdrop to top all others. The background opportunities for their photos were endless, with a nature preserve, the zoo, and the city right there!
