New Orleans Trip | Fall 2018
New Orleans Trip | Fall 2018
My sister, Kim, was headed to NOLA for an interview, and we decided to join her and tour the city. Of course my goal was to have a photoshoot with a couple while I was there, and that session is already up on the blog if you want to check it out. We spent the rest of the time exploring jazz clubs, touring the historic sections of the city, and eating all the beignets.

We stayed at Ace Hotel, which was only about a mile from the French Quarter.

So we did a lot of walking, which is good.

We also did a lot of eating. Creole seasoning is my jam.

We took the street car out to Audubon Park, and I highly recommend touring that way if you go down to NOLA.

Between our touring, we would head back and warm up in our hotel room. It was only in the 30s most days.
The music was beyond amazing.

We lucked out and had a jazz club in our hotel lobby, so we ended each night with jazz.

We only went to Bourbon Street one night (and we were still home by 10). It was an experience, but I think I enjoyed the jazz clubs better.

Hard to believe we were only in New Orleans for three days. I can’t wait to go back!
