I know many of my high school seniors end up on the North Shore for portraits. The yellow bridges are classic. But Pittsburgh has 400+ bridges to choose from, and the Smithfield Street Bridge is a personal favorite. The blue grey color combined with the pops of yellow makes for a gorgeous background - especially with a neutral dress like the one Rachel picked out!

Annie was a blast to work with. She loves musical theater, so the first thing we did was head into the city and the cultural district for some photos by the Benedum. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and we enjoyed it; going everywhere from the North Shore to up on Mt. Washington - with lots of pictures along the way!

Victorian Themed Senior Session | Miranda

I’ve been so excited to share these. Miranda is into all things Victorian, so for her senior portraits we had to do something special. She wore a Victorian gown, and we took photos at some of the beautiful homes from that era in Pittsburgh. Our first stop was Mansions on Fifth for their beautiful stained glass and grand staircase. Then we were lucky enough to be granted permission to photograph outside this private home in Highland Park. I feel like the whole shoot was out of a movie. Miranda is most likely going to college for some type of historic preservation, and I can see why!
